Pick an MCP-capable plugin
Mnem works with Obsidian community AI plugins that support MCP servers (several chat plugins do).

Copy the manual snippet
In Mnem's Connections panel, open Obsidian → Manual setup and copy the server configuration.

Add it to the plugin
Paste the configuration into your plugin's MCP or tools settings, then reload the plugin (or restart Obsidian).

Verify
Start a chat in the plugin and confirm the
mnemtools are offered.

Troubleshooting
MCP support varies by plugin and version — check the plugin's documentation if the tools don't appear. Mnem only responds to tool calls; it never reads or writes vault files on its own.
