Use Mnem with Continue.dev

Continue's assistant with persistent memory: recall and remember from inside VS Code or JetBrains via Continue's MCP support.

What you get

  • Memory tools available to Continue's agent
  • Shared context with every other connected app
  • Works in both VS Code and JetBrains versions of Continue

Connect

One-click setup from the Connections panel.

  1. Open Connections

Click the Mnem menu-bar icon and open the Connections panel.

  2. Connect Continue

Click Connect. Mnem adds an MCP server entry to your Continue configuration.

  3. Reload your editor

Reload the VS Code window (or restart your JetBrains IDE) so Continue picks up the new server.

  4. Verify

In agent mode, confirm the mnem tools appear in Continue's tool list.

Troubleshooting

Continue uses MCP tools in agent mode. If you manage Continue config by hand (YAML), watch the indentation under the MCP servers block — the Connections panel shows a known-good snippet to compare against.
